What is Gum Recession?
Gum recession occurs when the gum tissue surrounding the teeth pulls back, exposing more of the tooth or its root. This affects 1 in 2 adults over 30 and can lead to sensitivity, aesthetic concerns, and — if left untreated — eventual tooth loss.
